May 05 2008 - Merlin Cadet Chassis Update After a few months of testing and racing the Merlin MR Cadet Chassis is ready for the market place. Three solid wins at the hands of Trent Hindmann in the STARS East and West events have proven the testing phase positive and complete. “The chassis is basically the same as first produced with a few small changes on components” Stated Jamie Sieracki from Dream Works Karting Supply, LLC, US importer for Merlin Racing Chassis. “It doesn’t hurt when you have a driver like Trent to work with. Good feed back is the key to the development process. Trent and H & S Motorsports have put a good deal of time into the cadet chassis and its success thus far is a combination of driving, top shelf Comer engines from Woltjer and taking the time to test” commented Sieracki. Mike Doty Racing of Otisville, NY (Eastern US Dealer) currently has Trent Hindmann of H&S Motorsports on top of STARS East and West division points in the Cadet category as well as fellow Merlin driver Stephen Kalogiannis on top of the WKA Manufacturer’s Cup series cadet points. “Mike was insistent on getting the Cadet program off the ground as the success of the other junior chassis was growing” stated Sieracki.
